Hello, Margaret!
A warm welcome to planDisney, we're glad you're here! A visit to the Disneyland Resort always includes a few extra miles on our feet, but it's so worth it...especially if you have some fresh popcorn to munch on while you explore the parks! I'm happy to help you prepare for your visit.
The
Disneyland Resort Rules are here to keep every guest safe, and it's great to get familiar with them before you come to the parks. A deeper look at the
prohibited items list shows me that "cane-chair and seat-walker mobility aids" are allowed in the parks. While there aren't specific brands or types of cane chairs listed, the list does say that folding chairs, camping chairs, and camping stools are prohibited. As long as your cane chair cannot be confused with one of the prohibited items, it will hopefully be allowed at the parks.
One of my favorite things about Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park is how many great places there are to sit and relax! Besides the plentiful benches, my favorite spot to take a break is
Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room. You can use the Disneyland Mobile App to get a delicious Pineapple DOLE WHIP® Float from the Tiki Juice Bar using
Mobile Ordering, then enjoy the show. You can even take your treat inside with you!
You may also want to purchase
Disney Genie+ during your visit. With access to
Lightning Lanes you can reduce how much time you spend standing in line, which means less time on your feet. And don't forget to grab a seat for a fantastic show, like
Tale of the Lion King or
Storytelling at Royal Theater!
I'm wishing you a wonderful day in the parks, Margaret!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
