Ahoy, Marsha! Welcome back to planDisney and thanks for sailing over with your questions about Disney Cruise Line. I understand wanting to get everything in shipshape condition prior to stepping onboard, so let me give you an overview of the current packages.
Disney Cruise Line does not have traditional beverage packages that you may find on other cruise lines because many of the non-alcoholic
offerings are already complimentary with your booking. When enjoying your
rotational dining experiences, your servers will offer a variety of beverages, including soft drinks, coffee, and tea, that are all included at no extra charge. Similarly, the self-serve beverage stations found on the top decks allow you to get your own soft drinks, coffee, and tea whenever you want. Just be aware that non-alcoholic beverages do come with a cost at certain locations, most notably at the
nightclubs and lounges found around the ships and at the
Preludes snack bar located outside the Walt Disney Theatre. Additionally, there will be costs for alcoholic beverages, smoothies, and specialty coffees found across the entire fleet.
There are a limited number of beer and wine packages available for purchase prior to your sailing through
Disney Cruise Line Onboard Gifts, including 6-packs and both classic and premium wine packages. You can browse the options by departure port, but since the options vary by itinerary, you must put your upcoming reservation information in to see the specific offers for your particular sailing dates.
At this time, guests cannot purchase an
internet package until embarkation day. Once you can connect to the wi-fi at your departure port, you will be able to explore the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App and will see an option that says “Connect to Internet.” By clicking on that, you will be able to view the available packages and prices for your sailing. Keep in mind that the Navigator App works without having to purchase an internet package and has its own chat feature to send messages between the members of your sailing party.
