    Hello! What type of vehicle is used for the Disney shuttle transportation from partner hotels to Port Canaveral? (I would like to avoid bringing car seats for my kids and want to know if it’s a van or more like a coach bus?). Thank you so much:-)

    Welcome to planDisney, Nicole!  Thank you for sailing by with your important question as you get ready for your magical vacation on the Disney Fantasy.

    Ground transfers are usually by motorcoach so a car seat would not be needed, but sometimes other modes of transportation are provided.  Once you contact Disney Cruise Line to make your transfer reservation, they will note the ages of your kids and ensure they are safe and abide by local laws. On my first Disney Cruise Line vacation, we were transferred from the airport to the partner hotel in a passenger van, and a car seat was provided for my then toddler.
