Hi, Irving! I’m glad you brought your question to planDisney.
You’re going to have the best adventure ever aboard the beautiful
Disney Wish! From the moment you step on board, it feels like you’re a Guest of Cinderella and her royal friends. Have your cameras ready because you never know who might drop by the Grand Hall. I’m happy to help you figure out how to keep your gadgets charged and ready to go so you can capture your vacation memories.
Guests may bring a multiple-port USB wall charger. I use one for our vacations to charge my son’s electronics. It plugs directly into an outlet and has USB output ports. You are correct that some devices, including
extension cords, power strips, surge protectors, and multi-plugs, are not allowed on board. Keep in mind that your charger may be examined during security or by the Chief Electrician to ensure it’s in good working condition. As long as your device meets the criteria above, it should be allowed.
Thankfully your stateroom was created with comfort and convivence in mind. You’ll find at least six USB outlets throughout the cabin near the desk and nightstands. Being out at sea means “unplugging” from daily life, but you don’t have to! Several internet packages are available to keep you connected to your friends and family on land. Based on your usage, you can pick a package to check your email, surf the web, post pictures on social media, or even stream your favorite music platforms. I like to bring an extra-long cord to surf the internet comfortably in bed while my cell phone is charging.
For the most up-to-date information, make sure you download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before you set sail. The app is full of helpful information. A few of my favorite features are the ship’s deck plans, rotational dining menus, and of course, a list of all the entertainment.
Irving, I hope this information helps as you gather your electronics for your adventure at sea. If you have any other questions, please see us again. We are happy to share our favorite Disney Cruise Line tips with you!
SEAS the adventure!
