Hi there, Makenzie!
Thanks for dropping by planDisney with your question!
I'm so excited that Disneyland Resort is once again welcoming Guests to The Happiest Place on Earth. In the words of Walt Disney: "To all that come to this happy place, welcome."
At the current time, during Disneyland's
phased reopening, residents of the State of California are the only Guests allowed to visit the theme parks. This restriction is likely to be lifted in the near future, but at this time, there will be several ways to check residency. The mailing address in your online Disney account will need to be a California address. This will be the first step in proving residency, during the ticket purchasing process. In order to manage attendance, there is a new
theme park reservation system in place. To enter a park, both a theme park reservation and
valid admission for the same park on the same date are required. You'll be asked to confirm that all the members of your party are California residents when making your theme park reservation.
Guests may be asked to provide proof of residency at the main entrance on the day of their visit. I recommend a Government-issued photo ID, Military ID, or Student ID. You could also bring along a current utility bill (or any other "official" document showing a California postal address) to prove California residency.
I hope this helps, and you're soon on your way to immerse yourself in the magic of Disneyland Resort!
