What type of phone charger is the best to take to Disney world?

    Hi Melinda,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for taking the time to send us your question about phone chargers.  Your visit to Walt Disney World Resort is coming up very soon, I am happy to see you are planning the smaller details of your visit, for me a phone charger is an absolute necessity to make sure we are able to access My Disney Experience during our time in the theme parks.

Throughout Walt Disney World Resort you will be able to take advantage of the portable charging system kiosks where you can purchase and exchange chargers that work with most devices.  The chargers can be charged via USB cable or swap the charger out for a fully charged charger at one of the kiosks.  I love that these chargers are small and light-weight, I can just toss it into my park bag and enjoy the day!  There are also charging areas throughout the Theme Parks, if you do not wish to carry a portable charger, just your cord.  I have used the stations when I needed a little break, but I do find the portable chargers more convenient.

If you would like to be even more portable and hands free, you could always purchase a portable charging case for your phone.  I have a charger like this, and while it weighs slightly more than the chargers that are available at the kiosks, I like that I don't have to worry about extra cords and separate chargers, making it super easy to tour the Theme Parks for the day.

I hope you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort, Melinda, and that your phone lasts as long as you need it.  If you have any other questions, please come back and visit planDisney again, we are always happy to help.
