    Hello. What type of penalty is incurred if you do an on-line checkin and then need to cancel prior to your reservation?

    Hi Judy!

     

    Hopefully that won't happen to you. However, if you have to completely cancel the reservation, you will be responsible for a $200 cancellation fee, per package. This fee applies when the cancellation is being made less than 44 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, regardless of whether you did on-line check-in or not. You will also be responsible for any fees assessed by the airline for airfare - if it was part of your vacation package. In the case of a non-refundable airline ticket, the cancellation fee is equal to the entire ticket price. Cancellation of a refundable airline ticket must be made at least 24 hours prior to scheduled airline departure time. Vacation insurance is non-refundable on cancelled packages.

     

    If instead of completely cancelling your trip you can postpone travel for a later time, call (407) 939-7675 to speak with a Cast Member that will help you change your travel dates. The change fee for postponing your trip is typically $50 per package. If air travel has been ticketed, you will be responsible for any increase in airfare as well as the change fee assessed by the airline. However, do inquire with your travel insurance company to confirm this information as it is possible these fees are covered by your specific policy.
