Hiya, Cathy!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney! You're only a few sleeps away from your Most Magical vacation, and I'm sure you're counting down the days. I love that my Happy Place, the Walt Disney World Resort, welcomes a wide variety of accepted forms of payment. So, let's talk about how you can pay at the restaurants (and beyond)!
In general, you can use credit and debit cards,
Disney Gift Cards, and cash around property. You can pay via Apple Pay and Google Pay, too--even at table-service restaurants, although it may mean a short walk to a cash register. (I unintentionally tested this out at
The Hollywood Brown Derby a couple of weeks ago because I left my cards at home.) If you're staying onsite at one of the Disney Resorts Collection hotels, you can also pay with a MagicBand or
MagicBand+ that is linked to your hotel room.
There are two restaurants that require you to pay before your visit: the magical
Cinderella's Royal Table at Magic Kingdom Park and the rootin'-tootin'
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. You'll add your payment information when reserving the dining experiences online or in the
My Disney Experience App. AN EXTRA GEM:
Mobile Ordering is a super convenient way to order food and beverages on-the-go while you're exploring the parks or roaming the grounds of Disney Springs and hotels. Log in to the My Disney Experience App, find "Mobile Ordering," and place your order with a few clicks. This will allow you to skip the food queues and focus on making memories.
If you have any other questions about your upcoming visit,
ask us here at planDisney! Cathy, we would be more than happy to help with all-things-Disney, from figuring out the tiniest of details to completing the big picture. See ya real soon!
Magic always,
LeAndra
