Is there any type of paperwork I need to bring to get the Disability Access Service card? I have my VA card that says Service Connected Disability.

    Hi Mike,

First, thank you SO MUCH for your service and sacrifice for our country! I hope that you're looking forward to experiencing some magic and fun at the Walt Disney World Resort!

You actually won't need to bring any paperwork with you to ask about the Disability Access Service. You and your entire party will simply want to stop at a Guest Relations location inside a theme park once you arrive at "The Most Magical Place on Earth" where you can share with a Cast Member your concerns about waiting in a traditional queue. There are lots of wonderful services available for Guests with disabilities, and if they feel like the Disability Access Service is the best way to meet your needs, they'll get it all set up for you then and there. While they'll be able to go ahead and give you a return time for your first attraction, going forward, you'll simply having one member of your party ask the Cast Member at an attraction entrance to use the Disability Access Service, one attraction at a time. Everything is managed digitally now, so they'll simply scan a MagicBand or card, and you'll even be able to see your return time listed within the My Disney Experience mobile app. It's easy peasy to use, and a wonderful blessing for Guests who aren't able to tolerate traditional queues! Don't forget that you may use the FastPass+ service in conjunction with the Disability Access Service, too!

I'm so glad that you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question, Mike, and hope you'll come see us again if you have any other questions as you're planning your visit. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
