Hi there, Jenny!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad you found us while doing resEARch for an upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation! Vacation planning can be hard to navigate at times, especially when you have
dietary restrictions to think about! My two boys have dairy allergies and we have recently eliminated gluten from their diets (husband and I, too), so I understand the need to feel confident that those issues can be addressed onboard!
The Disney Cruise Line dining team, including the chefs onboard, are amazing! They can really handle any sort of dietary allergy, restriction or need in a way that you won’t feel like you are missing out! You will certainly want to have this noted on your reservation by contacting
Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 prior to your sailing. I usually do this at the same time I make my reservation so that I do not forget to do so later! Then, once you arrive onboard, you can meet with the dining team to specifically discuss needs and menus. The onboard chefs will work with you to ensure that your dining experience is wonderful and filling, and your dining room servers will help you navigate the menus, and buffet options. Many times, they will request that you pre-order your dinner meal a day ahead of time so that any changes or accommodations can be made. For breakfast and lunch there is always a restaurant available for dining, and many times we have found it easier to go there to eat (as opposed to the buffet), but there are many options available for you!
As you continue planning for your magical journey aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship, please come back with any additional questions you may have!
