Welcome to planDisney, Douglas! Thanks for reaching out to us with your question.
As you likely already know, the
Cast Members at the
Walt Disney World Resort go above and beyond for their Guests. And I truly believe that one of the many reasons that it's the Most Magical Place on Earth is because it's one of the most inclusive and accommodating places on Earth. As a testament to this, there is an abundance of services available at the theme parks, including the
Disability Access Service, or DAS.
Since everyone is unique and has different needs, it's important that you
schedule a virtual chat with a Cast Member. On this call, you will talk about your individual needs so that they can recommend the appropriate services for you while you are visiting the resort. You can schedule this call as soon as 30 days ahead of your visit. Just to let you know, as of May 20, 2024, all Guests will need to register for DAS through the virtual chat and will no longer be able to register through a
Guest Relations location. You can do this on your mobile device.
Douglas, now more than ever, Disney is committed to making each and every Guest feel
welcome and included. Be sure to check out the
Accessibility Planning Guide and the recently updated
Accessibility page of the website for some great information and planning advice for your next visit.
If you have any other questions,
please don't hesitate to reach out again!
Today is a good day to try,
Matt
