What type of hot chocolate is served in Disney hotels? I am on a dining plan with a refillable mug. Thank you!

    Hi Abigail!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Are you getting so excited about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort Vacation?

I just returned from my own magical Disney vacation last week, where I too filled my mug with hot chocolate from my Disney Resort Hotel's Quick Service dining location one morning. At Disney Resort Hotels, the hot chocolate is the standard deliciousness that we all know and love, served from one of those whirling push-button machines that is dispensed when you're ready for it. Something that you can even do to mix things up a bit is add a bit of coffee to your hot chocolate, or vis versa, to make a mocha caffeinated breakfast beverage.

You mentioned that you're using a Disney Dining Plan. New for 2018, the beverage portion of your meal can include a specialty beverage such as a hot chocolate, a milkshake, smoothie or an adult beverage where available. And don't forget to keep your eyes peeled during your Disney Days for more hot chocolate goodness. For one snack credit you can get any size beverage at any of the six on-property Starbucks locations, including their custom creations like peppermint hot chocolate. And for a really special twist, you will find Drinking Hot Salted Caramel from Karamell-Kuche in the Germany pavilion of Epcot's World Showcase. Everything in this little shop is covered in caramel, from sweets to fruit. So do as the Germans do and join the fun!

We'll See You Real Soon, Abigail!
