Hi Lisa!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. One of the ways I make our theme parks days easier during a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is by bringing snacks with us into the theme parks. The great thing is that there are very few restrictions about what you can bring with you for a theme park day! Guests are permitted to bring food and beverages with them into the theme parks provided they do not use glass bottles or containers and they do not bring any alcohol. Also, you are free to bring a cooler, with or without wheels, provided that it is not larger than 24" (61 cm) long x 15" (38 cm) wide x 18" (46 cm) high. This means you can bring snacks, juice boxes, water bottles (provided they are plastic) or even sandwiches or other items for a full meal! You can take a look at the
Walt Disney World Resort Park Rules for a complete list of prohibited items to help you plan what you would like to pack.
When I am enjoying the theme parks with my two little ones, I always make sure I have snacks for them such as fruit snacks, cookies, chips, granola bars and crackers. Plus, I always bring a plastic refillable bottle for each of them, which I can refill with complimentary cups of ice water from quick service dining locations. Bringing the right food with you is a great way to make sure your family is never hungry during the day while saving money for extra souvenEARs and Mickey Bars!
If you need it, be sure to take advantage of the
Locker Rentals at each of the theme parks to safely store your cooler during the day. Please let us know if you have additional questions. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
