Is there any type of discount tickets to buy for an elderly grandprarent that wants to go to watch their grandkids enjoy disneyland but they do not want to ride any of the attractions

    Hi there, Wendy!

I'm so excited that you’ll be experiencing a "Grand" adventure to the Disneyland Resort. It is going to be a memorable time for your multi-generational family to enjoy together. While there are not currently discount tickets available for grandparents and seniors, you may be interested in other special offers that are available. Be sure to check back frequently, as these offers are refreshed from time to time.

Walt Disney said that Disneyland "started from a daddy with two daughters wondering where he could take them where he could have a little fun with them, too." And so you will find that many of the in-park activities are very well-suited for your whole family to enjoy together. For example, one of our family’s favorite non-ride activities is Mickey and the Magical Map. I’m sure your family will also find many other dining, character experiences and entertainment options to enjoy together.

While a number of attractions do feature exciting thrills, there are still many attractions that run at a slower pace and that are well-suited for the entire family. I recommend a nostalgic jaunt on one of the Main Street Vehicles. Some attractions, like Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough and Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, even have an accessible experience that allows any guest to participate, regardless of physical or other considerations. And a visit to Disneyland Resort would not be complete without a relaxing trip around Disneyland Park aboard the Disneyland Railroad or the Mark Twain Riverboat, or both! Note that Rider Switch can also be used with any guest that is unable to experience an attraction with this feature to reduce repeated waits in lines.

I hope you and your family have a Fantasmic! time, Wendy! See ya real soon!
