Ahoy there, Shontisha!
Thanks for sailing by planDisney with your very important question. You’re as welcome as can be onboard, and please know that medical supplies will not be an issue. I’m happy to share the best way to bring these critical items onboard with you for a smooth embarkation day.
Any medical supplies should be kept with you during travel and kept in your carry-on bag for embarkation day. Please note that medical supplies are not included on the list of
Prohibited and Restricted Items. When possible, please keep any supplies or medications in their original containers. Your stateroom should be ready by early afternoon, and there is a refrigerator in every stateroom for your use (medical and personal beverage/food as needed). Please know that Guest Services cannot hold any medications for you to refrigerate centrally onboard. Your stateroom will also have a
complimentary sharps container in the bathroom; please let your
Stateroom Host know if you need additional ones throughout your sailing, and disposal instructions are provided.
Disney Cruise Line is fantastic with accommodating special diets if needed, Shontisha. You can speak with the
Dining Team on embarkation day or make individual meal requests with your servers each evening. I’ve seen no sugar added desserts on every standard menu, and I hope you’ll find many new things to try throughout your cruise that are comfortable for you.
Please let us know how else we can help you make the most of this special vacation! I hope this helps you envision what to expect for your supplies and puts your mind at ease.
Wishing you a magical cruise,
Amy
