Hi, Kimberly! Thank you for swinging by planDisney as you prepare for your upcoming visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort!
I’d be happy to answer your question about what type of coffee maker is in the room, as a two-to-three (and sometimes more) cup of coffee person myself, I understand how important it is to know what’s going help you kick start your morning on your way to early theme park entry for rope drop!
Unfortunately, the type of coffee maker found in your
Disney Resort Collection hotel will vary from resort to resort. Some resorts offer single-cup brewers using K-Cup pods while others will use a flat coffee pod that brews one large cup or two smaller cups at a time. If staying in a
Deluxe Villa, you will likely find a drip-style coffee maker that will brew a pot of coffee. So, to answer your question, it all depends! But no matter where you stay, all rooms will have the essentials to ensure your coffee is made to order, including sweeteners, creamers, cups, and lids.
In addition to your in-room coffee options, each resort will have a quick-service dining option such as a food court, market, or café with self-serve stations for soda, tea, and coffee. Your resort will offer a 16-ounce Refillable Mug for purchase that is good for the length of your stay, up to 14 days, where you can have access to unlimited caffeine to power you through your day! This mug is the first purchase our family makes on our visits to Walt Disney World as it is such a great value for someone like me who enjoys coffee all day long. And while you cannot use the mug for free refills in the theme parks, they are great to have on hand for water throughout the day, and can even be used at other Disney Resort Collection hotels.
I hope this helps you prepare for your upcoming visit, Kimberly. If you want to
send me a question about your upcoming stay, I can try to find an exact answer for you, or would be happy to answer any other questions you may have!
Safe travels!
Brent
