Heigh-ho Rebecca! It's off to Walt Disney World you go! How exciting to be in the final stretch leading up to your vacation.
Ahhh.
Disney's Old Key West Resort. I can almost hear the tropical tunes and feel the warm Florida breeze along the water in Conch Flats. You are headed to my family's favorite place to call home in Walt Disney World. After our first stay here, we officially became
Disney Vacation Club members. The generous accommodations and friendly touches keep us coming back year after year to this serene retreat.
While I have yet to experience a Grand Villa at Disney's Old Key West Resort (it's on my bucket list!), I have enjoyed stays in deluxe studios and one-bedroom villas here. In the spacious kitchen of your three-bedroom Grand Villa, you will find a Mr. Coffee drip-style full-size coffee maker. Several Joffrey's coffee pods are provided upon arrival, and more are available by request from Mousekeeping. I usually bring some extra flat-bottom filters and a small bag of coffee grounds from home, because I'd have some Sleepy and Grumpy dwarfs in my crew (myself included) if we were to wake up to an empty coffee pot!
If a morning stroll through the lovely resort grounds is on the itinerary,
Good's Food to Go near the Hospitality House offers
coffee and breakfast items. In the mood for cold brew? There are some icy caffeinated treats available here as well. It's the perfect spot to fuel up and go on your way to the theme parks.
Rebecca, I hope you have a magical stay next month at Disney's Old Key West Resort. Be sure to check out the
Disney Parks Blog for information about
Halloween festivities and seasonal offerings available during your visit. They're spook-tacular!
