Hello, Angelika! It’s lovely to see you at planDisney.
Hip, Hip, Hooray! You'll be stepping aboard the Disney Dream in just a few days! I'm sure you’re ready to check things off your packing list. So, let’s not delay and get your suitcases prepared for adventure.
Each Guest may bring a reasonable amount of clothing and personal items aboard the ship. You will drop off your larger suitcases when you arrive at the port. They will be transported to the ship and delivered to your stateroom within a few hours of setting sail. No matter how many bags you decide to bring, Disney Cruise Line staterooms are designed with families in mind. Your luggage will fit easily under the bed. The closet has plenty of room to hang your clothes, and both bathrooms have storage for personal care items. Just check all the drawers when it’s time to re-pack your bags so you don’t leave anything behind.
You’ll want to
pack any essential items in your carry-on luggage, like your travel documents and necessary medication. Your carry-on bags must not exceed 22 inches high, 14 inches wide, and 9 inches deep. They need to be small enough to fit through the security scanner. Staterooms are usually ready around 1:30 p.m. Depending on your port arrival time and boarding group number, you could have a short wait until you can head to your cabin. I recommend grabbing lunch at
Cabanas and exploring the ship. The
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app has a helpful map should you need assistance finding your way around. You can view the Daily Activity Schedule within the app at lunch to see what is happening throughout your voyage. There will be no shortage of fun!
I hope you are feeling shipshape and ready to make memories to last a lifetime! Have fun
packing those suitcases!
SEAS the adventure!
