Hiya, Desiree, and welcome to
planDisney!
You’re less than a month away
from your visit to the
Happiest Place on Earth… let the countdown begin! It’s always a good idea to prepare ahead of time, so I’d love to help you get started.
I checked the
Disneyland Resort Rules, and am happy to report that yes, you are more than welcome to bring a bag or backpack with you, so long as it’s no larger than 24” long by 15” wide by 18” high. You can even bring a cooler with you, as long as it fits within those parameters as well. Just keep in mind that loose ice isn’t allowed in coolers or backpacks, so I recommend bringing a re-usable ice pack instead if needed. Your bag or backpack will be checked at a Security Checkpoint before entering the Disneyland Resort, so you’ll want to make sure it’s easily accessible.
In addition, you may bring snacks into the Disneyland Resort, too! Just keep in mind that glass containers aren’t allowed inside the theme parks, though, with the exception of baby food jars. As a mom of three Mouseketeers ages 10 and under, I always pack some snacks in my backpack to help prevent meltdowns! I typically pack fruit snacks, popcorn, granola bars, graham crackers, and water bottles. But don't forget to save room for some of my favorite Disneyland Resort treats, too! From
Churros and
Mickey Beignets to
DOLE WHIPS and
Popcorn, there’s truly something for everyone!
I hope this information helps you get ready for your best Disney day, Desiree! Please stop by with any additional questions you may have… we’re all EARs!
Can’t wait to see ya’ real soon!
