What type of bags are allowed in Disney World?

    Hiya Sally,

Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your bag question! How exciting that you’ll be strolling right down the middle of Main Street this Friday, surrounded by all those practically perfect not-so-scary decorations.

Now, let’s dive into your question about allowable bag size—spit spot! According to Walt Disney World Property Rules, suitcases, bags, coolers, or backpacks (with or without wheels) larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm) aren’t allowed in any theme park or water park. So as long as your bag is under those dimensions, you’ll be good to go. Wouldn’t it be practically perfect to have a Mary Poppins carpet bag that fits everything without ever breaking the rules? Imagine how handy that would be for extra Mickey bars and bubble wands!

And while you’re visiting, don’t forget to hop over to EPCOT for the International Food & Wine Festival. Between the delicious global bites and refreshing drinks, there are also whimsical scavenger hunts like Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak and Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit. Both are available for an additional purchase, but they add so much fun as you search around World Showcase—plus, you get a prize at the end, which is practically perfect in every way!

Sally, I hope this helps you feel prepared for your magical day. If you have any more questions, feel free to visit us again.

    See ya real soon,

    Christina
