Can u get from tycoon to Epcot, and how long does it take?

Hi Craig! Thanks for coming to see us here at planDisney!

I don't know what your arrival date to Walt Disney World Resort is, but I do know that if it's a HOT month (and let's be honest, we're talking sunny Central Florida!) you're going to love running straight into the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool when you arrive! Between the thrills of the Crush 'n' Gusher and Miss Adventure Falls, make sure you have enough time to explore this entire shipwrecked land!

Since you're spending your evening hours at my favorite Park, EPCOT, make sure you check out Remy's Ratatouille Adventure in the France Pavilion! I rode this attraction for the first time during my last trip to the Resort and it's definitely one that you won't want to miss.  The 3D graphics mixed with the real-life props make you feel like you're really scurrying around the floor of a busy French restaurant with Remy!

If you happen to purchase an Individual Lightning Lane for Remy's Ratatouille Adventure (to get through the line with little to no wait) through the new Disney Genie Service, try to book it for a time that is close to when you plan on arriving at the Park.  The French Pavilion is located right next to the International Gateway entrance/exit to EPCOT, and this is the entrance you will most likely take if you plan on using Disney's complimentary bus transportation to get you to EPCOT after splish-splashin' at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.

From Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, I would suggest hopping on a bus headed for Disney's Yacht Club or Beach Club Resort. These Resorts are closest to EPCOT and will put you within a short walking distance to the International Gateway entrance. I always plan about an hour for travel when I'm hopping from one destination to another around the Resort.  Disney busses tend to run every 20 minutes and once you're waiting, you'll be able to see approximate bus arrival times on screens right in the stations.

The other option you have is to call a ride-share service, such as Lyft, to get you where you want to be! In this case, you would be picked up at Typhoon Lagoon and dropped off at the Front Entrance of EPCOT.  This obviously would have a cost, as compared to Disney's complimentary transportation, but you may arrive a little sooner.

Whatever you chose, I hope you and your party enjoy your time riding and lounging in the sun!

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
