TY for ur response. Already have res for garden view at Poly pd all w/ points thru Visa. Meant to ask what would be the best way to make a rm request and for someone like me who loves the "in the middle of everything" feel of CR? which longhouse u

    Hi Christina!

It was good to hear from you. I'm so glad that you were able to snag a reservation at Disney's Polynesian Resort! I'm sure you're going to love it.

In my opinion, the best way to make a special request is to call the central reservation line at (407) 939-7675. However, if you made your reservation through Visa since you cashed in your points (way cool by the way), then you may want to try going back to them as well. It can never hurt to cover all bases.

As for your question, two of the longhouses are designated for special-purpose bookings. Specifically, the Hawaii longhouse is where the club-level rooms are located and the Tonga longhouse is where the suites are located. Other than those two, it's certainly worth a shot to make a special request.

Since you prefer to be near the action, I'd consider requesting a room in one of the longhouses near The Great Ceremonial House. These would be Rarotonga, Niue, or Samoa. The other neat thing about those three is that they are sandwiched between both of the pools.

Here's another little tip - when you check in, ask the cast member if they can tell you which longhouse your room will be in. If you tell them that you want to be close to The Great Ceremonial House and the pools, but it looks like your room is a little farther away than you'd prefer, you can always ask them to see if any other rooms might be available. In some cases, you may have to wait a few extra minutes as the "Mousekeepers" finish their cleaning rounds, but it may be worth the wait.

I hope that helps! As you can probably tell, I absolutely love Disney's Polynesian Resort, so I'd be more than happy to answer any other questions you may have as you're finalizing your plans. So, feel free to hit me up anytime!

    Aloha!!
