    Hi Melinda!

You are so welcome! I'm glad that you came back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about Disney Vacation Club.

I have stayed in a one-bedroom Disney Vacation Club Villa with almost the same configuration that you have - myself, my husband, my young daughter, and my mother. My mother stayed on the pull out couch in the living room. I checked with her, and she said that she found the pull out couch to be comfortable. She also said that she was so tired from running around Walt Disney World with my daughter all day that she slept really well! Please do note that since you are talking about a party of five, you will be able to stay in one-bedroom villas at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, as well as most at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas and Disney's Old Key West Resort. When you make the reservation, be sure to indicate that you are a party of five to get a villa that will accommodate you.

I think that a lot of people would tell you that the best Disney Vacation Club pool is Stormalong Bay at Disney's Beach Club, which has an amazing shipwreck themed waterslide.  Parts of Stormalong Bay are sand-bottomed. While I do like Stormalong Bay, I am partial to Luna Park Pool at Disney's BoardWalk Villas. I love the Keister Coaster waterslide, and the relative calm of the pool. If you are choosing from one of the resorts where a one-bedroom villa can accommodate your party of five, many people love the Samawati Springs pool at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas. This pool includes a fun water play area called Uwanja Camp. Again, I really like that pool; however, I would choose Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, which has a nice pool with a fun waterslide. I tend to like the quieter, more relaxing pools.

I hope that this information helps, Melinda! Have a great time planning your trip, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
