TY Bernie for helping with my Fishing question! Is there anyway my Hubby can fish from a canoe? I thought I read he could do this. Maybe at Fort Wilderness? Also, is there anywhere, aside from an excursion, he can use his own pole? You are awesome TY!!

    Hi Shannon!

Thank you for sending me another question directly!

You can definitely fish throughout Fort Wilderness, except where there is foot traffic, such as off the edge of a dock.  He can use his own pole and he can even buy bait at Fort Wilderness, though most guests buy bait outside of Walt Disney World where it is a little less expensive.  He can also rent a canoe and when he is tired of fishing, he can explore the canals!  Usually, you can see a lot of guests fishing at Fort Wilderness, especially when it is not so hot and humid out.

Enjoy planning your magical Disney vacation, and please write back if you have any more questions!
