TY for answering my previous ? We have narrowed it to the YBC, WL or POFQ. Love the YBC (location!!) but it hurts the budget a bit & no food court. Do you think it is worth the extra $ over the other 2? I am afraid I won't enjoy the other two as much

I always plan by first choosing our accommodations. I never want to go on vacation stressed out by our budget. Let your journey take you to the resort that best suits your budget and dreams!

You can have a magical time at WDW without resting your head in a deluxe resort. We do not stay deluxe every time. Why?

I love the different themes of the resorts. Let me give you an example. This September we are going for a long weekend to WDW. We were booked at the Animal Kingdom Lodge where we've stayed a few times. Since we've only stayed once at the tropical Caribbean Beach Resort AND the newly renovated pool should be open prior to our arrival, we've decided to stay at CBR instead. And we save money too. It's a win-win decision.

I miss having a food court at the deluxes. The Yacht and Beach Club offer dining opportunities nearby but the lack of a food court can be an inconvenience. I also found it odd that after 11 p.m. I was unable to get my refillable mug filled with soda because the store was entirely closed. I was not happy about having to go to the vending machine. So there are pros and cons in regards to all of the resorts.

Wilderness Lodge is a great resort in that you get many deluxe amenities but you do not pay the steep price tag that comes with many of the other deluxes. This is a fantastic resort that will whisk you away from reality.

Port Orleans French Quarter is another great choice. It has a moderate price with some nice amenities. You'll have access to Port Orleans Riverside too via a pleasant stroll down a path by the river. The riverboat to Downtown Disney is a relaxing way to travel. The food court offers a lot of seating, an area for kids to color and a larger menu than you will find at the quick service locations at the deluxe resorts. The courtyards, fountains and pathways are charming.
