Will my two-year-old need to have the new lightning lane pass? How does that work without an admission ticket? For example, if my husband and I use tier 1 for Jungle Cruise, will my daughter be able to come with us without question?

Hey, there! Hi, there! I am so happy to see you back at planDisney where you are as welcome as can be. Planning a trip to take your little Mouseketeer to the Most Magical Place on Earth? Hot dog! Caitlin, you are all in for a treat.

As you know, Mickey's littlest pals are his Guests at Walt Disney World Resort and theme park tickets are not required for toddlers who are 2 years old or younger. This is true for Lightning Lane passes, too. Your princess will be able to enter the lanes with you as you enjoy attractions like Jungle Cruise with speedy entry to meet your Skipper and board your boat.

Have you seen the Planning Guide for Parents of Preschoolers & Small Children? It is a great resource for seeing all the attractions that are well-suited for a day in the magic with your little one. From attractions, shows, character greetings and dining, this guide has you covered.

You can also look into Rider Switch service if you and your husband want to hurl through the darkness on Space Mountain or enjoy another attraction designed for kids who are a bit taller. You can use Rider Switch with or without a Lightning Lane pass. Just ask the Cast Member at the front of the entry for the attraction and they will provide directions on the line based on your entry type, where the second adult and non-rider should wait, and trading places for the second adult to enjoy the ride.

One thing I learned when I took my nephew is that using a MagicBand+ to scan in for Lightning Lanes is more fun than pushing buttons on an elevator. Be prepared to share the fun of making the Mickey Mouse icon turn green. Oh boy! It's the best.

I hope your trip is sprinkled in Pixie Dust and you have the best time ever. If you have any other questions, you know you have a pal in planDisney.

    See 'Ya Real Soon!
