Howdy, Ben! Welcome to planDisney!
Spring is my second favorite time of year to visit Walt Disney World (Christmas takes the prize). The weather is usually perfect, and there’s so much to see and do (like the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival!). I’m so glad that you’re planning for your spring visit now - planning ahead is the best way to ensure a stress-free vacation.
Considering that you have two separate two-day tickets to use in an overlapping time period, my best advice to you would be to scan into the park with your mobile device. Open your My Disney Experience app, tap the menu icon (☰), then My Tickets & Passes. Open the tickets you’d like to use, and the cast member at the park gate will scan them. To be safe, I’d do this entering the parks on the first two days, or request a Key to the World card for that first set of tickets either from the gate cast member or Guest Relations. This will ensure a seamless entry, but if you do choose to scan your MagicBand and have any issues Guest Relations onsite can help so pay them a visit.
Since you’ll have your MagicBand, consider adding
Lightning Lane passes to your tickets. Lightning Lane passes allow you to skip the traditional standby queue and spend less time waiting to enjoy select attractions and experiences. MagicBand allows you to seamlessly tap in at the entrance of your Lightning Lane attractions and get to the fun even faster. Your Lightning Lane window opens 7 days prior to your arrival date if you’re staying at a Disney Resort hotel.
If yours is a
MagicBand+, in addition to faster Lightning Lane access, it will automatically provide you access to enhanced entertainment experiences throughout the theme parks and Disney Springs. You can even become a bounty hunter in
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge! Additionally, any MagicBand will allow you the convenience of unlocking your Disney resort hotel room door and easily making merchandise and food & beverage purchases across the Disney resort.
I hope this information is helpful, Ben. If you need any additional help with planning, come on back and let us know. We’ll see ya real soon!
Your pal,
Sakinah
