Hi Rebecca!
Thanks so much for sailing over to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited that you're thinking about booking a Disney Cruise for you and your family! We started cruising with my son when he was just 6 months old. At the time, I knew the memories we were making were more for my husband and me; however, my son had such a wonderful time while onboard! My son was amazed while taking in the sights and sounds of the ship, loved exploring what sand felt like for the first time on
Castaway Cay and enjoyed being rocked to sleep each night by the ocean.
Rebecca, I don't feel that a Disney Cruise will be too much for your 2-year old buccaneer! First, one of the great things about cruising is your stateroom is always a short walk away from any point on the ship! If your little one isn't a happy sailor and needs a break, you can always bring him/her back to the stateroom with ease for some quiet down time. My son loves meeting Disney Characters while at sea. Also, there are water play areas especially made for the smallest cruisers to enjoy. There is so much to do that small kids love!
Disney Cruise Line makes
Traveling with Little Ones a smooth-sailing experience. While you're still thinking about booking a future Disney Cruise, don't hesitate to come back and visit us again with any more excellent questions! We're here to help in any way we can!
