Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Lynda. I'm so happy you stopped by and even happier to see you'll be traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort next week! And with a
little one in tow! You're sure to make lots of magical memories together.
You ask a great question. Children under the age of 3 are special Guests of Mickey Mouse and do not require Theme Park Tickets or Theme Park Reservations. While your 2-year old may
want to wear a
MagicBand, they won't
need one for any reason, including theme park entry. When my kids were toddlers, they enjoyed wearing MagicBands like mom and dad, but for them, those MagicBands only served as cute vacation accessories and not handy vacation tools. Although, they all loved using their MagicBands to open the door of our Disney Resorts Collection hotel room!
A stroller will be a must-have for your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. Exploring the theme parks requires a lot of walking and those little legs will tire quickly!
Strollers are available to rent at all four theme parks and Disney Springs. You're also welcome to bring your own stroller from home!
If you bring a stroller from home, just be sure it's no larger than 31" in width and 52" in length. I recommend taking something with you to mark your stroller. You'll want to make it easy to spot among a sea of others in the designated stroller parking areas! I always tie a Mickey Mouse ribbon to the handlebar of my preschooler's stroller, but I've seen Guests use balloons, nameplates, and even battery-operated twinkle lights!
I hope this was helpful, Lynda. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your Disney vacation! We'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
