We have a two year old and were wondering if we need to pack a life jacket for the water parks? Can he ride slides wearing one?

    Hi Jason,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this excellent question.

You'll be very happy to hEAR that both Disney Water Parks provide guests with life jackets absolutely free-of-charge. However, supplies are limited and only available on a first-come, first-served basis. The complementary life jackets come in the following infant, child, and youth sizes.

Infant/child: Weight less than 30 pounds.
    Child: Weight 30-50 pounds.
    Youth: Weight 50-90 pounds.

That being said, if your little "Nemo" would feel more comfortable in his own, you may certainly bring his life jacket to use while at the water parks. When my "Nemos" were little, I always packed ours. If he meets the attraction's height requirement, then he will be allowed to ride the slides while wearing a life jacket.

Disney Mom Tip: I recommend visiting Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park. This water park offers more family ride options and play spaces for younger children. Please don't forget to bring lots of sunscreen, water shoes, and sunglasses too.

I hope this information was useful, Jason. Please come back soon with more questions!

Wishing your family a most unforgettable visit to the place where The Magic is Endless!
