Can my two year old ride on a surrey bike?

    Hi, Cheryl!

Taking the family out in Surrey Bikes is one of our favorite Walt Disney World® Resort recreational activities. Our favorite spot for making chicks and ducks and geese scurry is the Surrey Bike Rentals located at Disney's BoardWalk Inn Resort.

Having rented fringe-topped surreys several times with my little ones, I can tell you a two year old will be able to ride. The bikes have basket seats in the front with a velcro strap seatbelt for little ones that are not big enough to sit in between mom and dad on the actual bike. Your little prince or princess will love being in charge of ringing the bell to alert others around that a surrey bike is behind them.

I'll never forget the time we rented a surrey and both my daughters sat in the basket seat while my son sat in between me and my husband. We were quite the crew peddling around Crescent Lake. Now, all three of my children can peddle and we have to rent double seaters. Make sure you have a Cast Member take some photos of your family on the Surrey. Our Surrey photos over the years are some of my most treasured. For a list of all Surrey Bike Rental Locations available, select the highlighted link.

I hope this helps, Cheryl! Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I am here to help.
