Can my two year old be in the pool area and not swim? She’s not potty trained and won’t be in the water. Just want to make sure she can be in the area with her siblings.

    Hi Megan!

Thanks so much for sailing back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your little sea guppie will have the time of her life onboard your upcoming Disney Cruise! My son started cruising with Captain Mickey when he was 6 months old. I've enjoyed watching his eyes light up with each new discovery aboard every voyage. I can't wait for you to experience the same thing with your littlest munchkin!

Having a splashtacular time on the pool deck is one of my son's favorite activities. Since your daughter isn't potty trained, she will be able to be on the Pool Deck area with you, just not in the water with her siblings. One activity that you might enjoy on the Pool Deck as a family is watching a classic Disney movie on the Funnel Vision during the day! You and your daughter can pull up a lounge chair and watch together on the deck, and your older kiddos can be splashing in the pool while watching it, too!

Your daughter will love the water play areas onboard! These areas are designed with the littlest cruisers in mind! My son has such a fun time playing in the fountains. My favorite time to visit the water play area is while the ship is docked at a port of call. After we're done exploring ashore, we throw on our swimsuits and enjoy a less crowded time on the Pool Deck!

Megan, thanks again for visiting us! If you have any other questions while you plan your magical adventure at sea, please come see us again!
