Haleigh, welcome to planDisney! It's lovely to have you sail our way with your question. You’re only a month away from setting foot aboard the beautiful
Disney Wonder. I’m thrilled for you! Let’s discuss the required
Travel Documentation so that you are well-prepared for your sailing.
Since your cruise is a closed-loop sailing, meaning your cruise starts and ends at the same U.S. port, your daughter doesn’t need a passport if she is a U.S. citizen. You only need her original or official copy of her state-issued birth certificate. If the adults are using birth certificates as well, they will also need to show a government-issued photo ID.
Haleigh, now that your paperwork is in order, you can concentrate on packing for your cruise. Disney Cruise Line has many wonderful
accommodations for parents traveling with little ones. There are a few things you can leave behind. Your stateroom host can provide a bed rail and diaper disposal unit upon request. There are even a limited number of complimentary strollers available from Guest Services. When my son was younger, he enjoyed
Dory’s Reef, a dedicated splash deck just for sailors under three. There are plenty of fountains and bubblers to keep your Mouseketeer entertained and cooled off. Just make sure you bring swim diapers. If you need any last-minute packing ideas, Disney Cruise Line has a handy
packing checklist on their website.
I hope you have a fantastic voyage filled with unforgettable moments. Please stop by and ask if you have any other questions before going to the port. We are delighted to help!
SEAS the adventure!
