Hi Rebecca,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. Your Walt Disney World vacation is less than a week away, and I’m so excited for you. My children absolutely love having special together time with their grandparents in The Most Magical Place on Earth, and I know you are going to make the most wonderful memories with your family.
On the
Disney Dining Plan, Guests over age 3 receive a Resort Refillable Mug, so your two-year-old Granddaughter will not receive one. If you’d like to purchase a mug for her, they are available for sale at each resort Quick-Service dining location; the current cost (though it is subject to change at any time) is $18.99, and it’s valid for the length of your stay.
Please note that the beverage options for the Rapid Fill Mugs are sodas, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. If your granddaughter usually drinks juice or milk, you’ll be able to purchase that in the beverage cases at the resorts, and water is always available for free. If milk, water, or juice are her usual beverages, it might make sense to purchase a cute Disney-themed sippy cup that’s special for her Disney vacation, and then you can fill it with water or purchase her beverage of choice. Every resort room has a mini refrigerator, so you could keep her favorite drink on hand in the room and fill her cup there.
Remember that each meal on the Disney Dining Plan comes with a drink, so if you’re having coffee one morning, you could select a beverage for your granddaughter along with your breakfast and then fill your Resort Refillable Mug with coffee for yourself.
Rebecca, enjoy every minute of your
Grand Adventure next week!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
