Bonjour and Welcome Aboard, Marie Andree!
Thanks for stopping by! Your cruise on the awesome
Disney Magic is only a few days away - how exciting! You'll be happy you chose to sail during Disney Cruise Line's Very Merrytime Cruises. With the gorgeous holiday decor, festive activities and entertainment, your cruise will be pixie-dusted from start to finish!
One thing I love about cruising with Disney is the wide variety of nationalities among the crew members. You'll notice cast and crew nametags will have their name and the country they hail from. I've met so many nice folks from all over the world on our Disney Cruises!
When you register the kids for Youth Activities on the ship, I recommend noting that they're French-speaking in the "special considerations" area of the form. The counselors will be considerate of their needs, and can introduce them to other French-speaking guests in the
Youth Clubs. The Oceaneer Lab and Oceaneer Club are great places for them to hang out with other kids their age on the ship. No worries about a language barrier in the clubs - they speak the universal language of FUN!
If you'd like to request French-speaking servers for your evening meals, I'd suggest calling Disney Cruise Line at 1-800-951-3532 to have that noted on your reservation. (Make sure to have your reservation number handy when you call.) You can also stop by Guest Services to pick up any brochures, schedules or written materials you may need, printed in French.
I hope this helps! Now, it's time to start packing and preparing to sail away with Captain Mickey and his crew. I hope your magical Disney Cruise Line vacation is all you've dreamed it would be, and more!
Bon Voyage and Happy Holidays! - Diane W.
