I have a two year old (will be almost three when we go). I was curious if any moms had any suggestions on which days where better (if any) to visit certain parks on each day of the week? I can only afford to go take us to parks on two days. Help!?

    Hi Michelle,
Thanks for bringing your question to the Mom's Panel.  I have been in your situation many times - tight budget and only a couple of days at Walt Disney World.  Let me tell you that you absolutely can and will have a wonderful time!

What I found when my kids were as young as yours is that you don't have to do everything to have a wonderful time.  They truly live in the moment, and there are many magical moments to share.  I would encourage you to make a list of things you absolutely must see, and then work around those.  I would suggest that the Magic Kingdom might be on that list.  If your child is an early riser, then you might want to visit the Magic Kingdom on the days when the Extra Magic Hours are offered.  Check out the Park Calendar to find out which days these are offered.  Our family would head into the park as early as possible, then head back to the hotel for a nap mid-day.  Then we could be back in time for the 3 O'Clock parade and for more fun later in the day!

Another park you might want to check out is Disney's Hollywood Studios - there are many characters here that your child will recognize.  You can enjoy 'Disney Junior Live on Stage' and let him play in the 'Honey I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure', just to name a few things.  Visit and click on the links for the parks you want to visit to see what you might like to do while you are there.

Finally, don't overlook the fun you can have at your hotel.  All the hotels have fun pools and playground areas - our kids loved the unstructured time just to play.

Michelle, let me know if you have any other questions.  You are in for one magical time - enjoy!

Walt Disney World stole my heart when my parents introduced me to the magic the year it opened. I fondly remember my first 'Mickey Mouse in a Glass House' balloon! I still visit with my parents-and now with my husband and our two teens. Learn More About Lynn
