Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rick!
What a fantastic age to visit Walt Disney World Resort! I just loved seeing the wonder and amazement in my then 3-year-old’s eyes on her first Disney vacation! In terms of if your grandson will be able to nap while out and about in the Disney Theme Parks, you have a few options. The first would be the good-old stroller nap. This generally happens organically as children fall asleep in their strollers. You can bring your own stroller (or
rent one) and a comfort item such as a stuffed animal or favorite blanket to help him fall asleep. Walking around the least busy parts of the Disney Theme Park would also help. Alternatively, many Guests take a midday break from the Theme Parks and head back to their Disney Resort hotel for a nap. Although there are no places to take naps within the Theme Parks, you may want to familiarize yourself with the
Baby Care Centers, which even have feeding areas with high chairs, a microwave and a sink, and many more items that might make your day a little easier.
If you are wondering what kind of attractions, shows and entertainment options your grandson would enjoy, I also recommend checking out the
Planning Guide for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones. This great resource will help you make the most of your days at Walt Disney World Resort.
Have a magical time and please come and visit us again soon,
