Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sheila!
What a fun and special experience you are planning. You've also come to the right place for tips and tricks on making it memorable - my family and I had a similar experience in April when we combined my oldest daughter's birthday celebration with a photo session by
Disney Fine Art Photography at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Our most recent session marked our 5th photography experience spanning a range of Mini Sessions, Enhanced Sessions, Theme Park shoots, and shoots at three different Walt Disney World® Resort hotels; I'm very happy to be helping you plan yours! Here are a few ideas:
• Book a Mini Session, or if you have a large group and think you'll need the extra time, an Enhanced Session at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort at/near sunset for beautiful shots, then enjoy a tropical feast with a birthday dinner at the 8:15pm showing of Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show. As you exit Luau Cove at the conclusion, you'll be greeted by the finale of Magic Kingdom's nightly fireworks, Happily Ever After.
• For a more elegant backdrop, have your photo session at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. I prefer mid-morning at this location, I feel it enhances the rich green coloring of the grounds and the white elegance of the resort's architecture. Once your photo session is complete you'll be all dolled up for Afternoon Tea at Grand Floridian's Garden View Tea Room.
Sheila, I would love to know more about your family so we can narrow down some additional ideas I have for you! I'll be available until December 31st and would love to help you continue planning. I'd also love to share more about my experiences with Disney Fine Art Photography with you, and help you select what's right for your family.
Hope to hEAR from you again!
