    I have a two week trip planned with 4 children. All tickets, park bookings reservations and special tickets have been booked. Want to know if I can transfer all details, including bookings and my tickets, into my wife’s name instead?

    Welcome to planDisney! Your trip to Walt Disney World Resort is a few short weeks away. Two weeks of adventure in The Most Magical Place on Earth sounds like a dream come true! I am sure everyone in your travel party is getting excited as you finalize the details of your enchanting itinerary. And it sounds as if your planning is headed in the right direction. Having your tickets, Disney Park Pass Reservations, and Enchanting Extras booked before you arrive means you will be ready to head to the parks and start enjoying your time together as soon as you arrive. 

    Should you prefer to make name changes to your reservations and tickets there are a few options available, depending on the type of package or ticket purchase you have made. Changes to a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation package would need to be made by speaking with a friendly Cast Member by phone with Disney Resort Hotel Reservations or you can inquire by filling out the contact us form. If you booked your plans with a travel agency, they will need to make these changes on your behalf. 

    If your travel plans include tickets, but not a stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Collection hotel, the process of transferring tickets to your wife can be done in a few simple steps! Transferring tickets can be done through your My Disney Experience mobile app. Before transferring tickets you and your wife will both need to have a My Disney Experience account and link your accounts to each other. You will also have to link your upcoming plans to your account. Once this step is complete open the My Disney Experience app and tap the three bars at the bottom of the screen. Then select the Tickets and Passes tile. Scroll through your tickets and choose the ones you would like to transfer. Below the ticket will be an option to Reassign Ticket. Click this to transfer the ticket to your wife. 

    Enchanting Extras and other special experiences can be changed by reaching out to the Tours, Recreation team by phone. They can assist you with any name changes you may wish to make. You may also be able to make these changes by using the chat feature on the Walt Disney World website. Your travel agent may also be able to assist you with these modifications. 

    Once you have made any travel plan transfers, I recommend that your wife confirms that everything looks correct in her My Disney Experience account before your vacation begins. Be sure that all Park Pass reservations, dining plans, tickets, and other reservations look correct so that you can head straight into vacation mode as soon as you arrive!
