Tia:
If you've already found Disney Floral & Gifts, let me introduce you to
Disney's Custom Celebrations department, also. The website is handy to help you pinpoint exactly what you want to celebrate to add that "extra magic" for which you may be looking. Also, let me share with you the number for Disney's Cake Hotline. If you want to surprise someone in your family, don't settle for the simply vanilla and chocolate cakes you can order at the podium of your restaurant, plan ahead by calling 401-827-2253. Disney's bakeries can do practically anything you can imagine.
If you're looking for those small extras that you can all do together to create memories, I'd recommend that you spend time at www.disneyworld.com to explore the THINGS TO DO tab that will introduce you to so much more outside of the parks. From its
spas (I recommend Senses at Saratoga Springs) to a
fireworks cruise (our family likes them on Bay Lake/Seven Seas Lagoon to catch the Magic Kingdom fireworks. The Illuminations cruise is more romantic.), water "mice" to the new amphicars located at
The Boathouse at Downtown Disney, adding just one or two experiences can give you a memory that will last long after flowers or candy fade. And don't feel like the "extras" have to cost extra. I recommend
Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-a-long at Fort Wilderness or simply taking the time to sample all of the drinks at Coke's Club Cool in Epcot. Best of all, both are my favorite price: free.
Wishing y'all a magical vacation!
Whitney
