Hi Victoria,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for taking the time to send us your question. How exciting that you already have Theme Park Tickets for Disneyland Resort, I hope you will be back at the Happiest Place on Earth before you know it!
Since the
closure last year, Disney has announced that the expiration dates for most Theme Park Tickets will automatically be extended until December 16, 2021. While it doesn't sound like your Theme Park Tickets have expired, I recommend linking your tickets to your
Disney Account in order to check the expiry date. If by chance you are unable to visit Disneyland Resort prior to the expiry date, don't worry, guests are able to use the value of their wholly unused Theme Park Tickets toward the purchase of a new admission.
When Disneyland Resort opens on April 30, 2021 it will be for California residents only at this time. Disney has not yet released information for guests traveling from out of state, but more details will be shared at a later date. Since your Disney Account is linked to your address, once out of state guests are able to visit Disneyland Resort you will be able to make your Theme Park Reservations right away since you already have Theme Park Tickets. I suggest keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog as well as the official
Disneyland Resort website for any new information regarding time lines for out of state guests.
Sending you extra Pixie Dust in hope that you will be able to visit Disneyland Resort soon, Victoria. Please come back to us here at
planDisney with any questions you may have once more details are released, we are always happy to help.
