Since you already have your tickets purchased and your theme park reservations secured, you have conquered the first step to visiting. Without purchasing
Lightning Lane during the original check out time, you will have to wait until your visit to add it. Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass selections become available on the first day of your visit once you have physically scanned into the park. That’s why you’re not seeing the option online just yet.
My best tip is to arrive right at park opening. As soon as you enter and scan your ticket, open the
Disneyland app and you’ll be able to purchase and start selecting Lightning Lane experiences. You will get a notification on the main screen asking if you want to add Lightning Lane to your tickets. Getting an early start helps you maximize the value of the pass and fit in as many attractions as possible before crowds build later in the day.
Think of it as kicking off your visit with a little extra pixie dust and a smart plan. Starting early gives you more flexibility, more attraction experiences, and more time to soak in the magic at your own pace.
