Ahoy there, Francine! Thanks for sailing our way here at planDisney with your question about photo packages!
Photo packages are an amazing way to keep the excitement and magic of your Disney Cruise Line vacation going well after the sad, sad day that you disembark! From the staged photos in the atrium and other locations with amazing backdrops to arguably the best backdrop - the ship itself, as well as photo opportunities at each of your main dining rooms at dinner each night, it's always so fun to have photos that don't include someone's arm in every single selfie you take - though those are great, too!
When it comes to selecting stateroom guests for the photo package,
you only need to select one guest from each stateroom! I know it can be a bit confusing, but now if you have any questions about photography packages before your cruise, be sure to check out the
"Pre-book...and Save!" section of the Photo Packages page of the Disney Cruise Line website! There, you'll also find information about offerings like Shutters Portrait Studio.
Personally, my family has never done a portrait session at Shutters while onboard - we always run out of time - but if you're looking for a family portrait for your wall, I have several friends who rave about theirs!
No matter which package you select, I also recommend
reviewing the photo package terms and conditions so you're aware of how much time you'll have to review and download your photos before they end up back out at sea, and more!
Thank you so much for your question, Francine, and I hope your sailing this September is absolutely magical for you and your crew! If you have any additional questions as your sail date gets closer - whether they're about photos or not - please sail our way again here at planDisney!
Until then, here's to fair winds, following seas, and great photos!
