There are two star wars character meals offered while we are visiting (june 10-18)m, which one do you recommend? how are they different? thank you!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Deb ~

I feel the force is strong with you! I was thrilled when the Disney Parks Blog announced the special Star Wars dining experiences for this year.

The Star Wars Dine-In Galactic Breakfast! at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant is for breakfast only. The characters featured (always subject to change) are Darth Vader, Greedo, Jawa, Boba Fett, and the Stormtroopers. Instead of the usual Sci-Fi clips they usually show, they will feature Star Wars clips and trailers.

The other option is Jedi Mickey's Star Wars Dine at Hollywood and Vine. This dining event is for dinner only. This location features Mickey as Jedi Mickey, Minnie as Princess Leia Minne, Donald as Stormtrooper Donald, Goofy as Darth Goofy, and Chip and Dale as Ewoks. Again, characters are subject to change. They are offering this dining experience as a Fantasmic! Dining Package or as a regular dinner option.

While both options will be full of intergalactic fun, I selected the The Star Wars Dine-In Galactic Breakfast! at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant for a few of reasons. I thought my son would enjoy the traditional Star Wars characters over the ones featured at Hollywood and Vine. He has never met Greedo, Boba Fett, or a Jawa so I knew he'd be more excited about those characters. We also like the idea of doing breakfast before the day really gets started and we can enter the park a little earlier. We enjoy the unique dining experience at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant and it will be even better with the Star Wars clips playing on the big screen.

Reservations for both will go fast so I'd make reservations now by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

May the force be with you :-) Allison V.
