Hello and welcome to planDisney, Gabriel! We're so happy you're here and asked us this question. I'm delighted to help.
After chatting with a Cast Member, they shared that you will need to create new accounts for your sons who are now 13, and delete the old ones. Something to keep in mind, any reservations or tickets that may be linked under the existing accounts may need to be re-created and linked in the new account. If you have a trip that's coming up soon and have already made plans with their existing accounts, it may be best to wait until the trip has been completed to create the new accounts. If you haven't started planning yet, be sure to create the new accounts before you start to make your plans. As you may know, Guests aged 13 to 17 will only have
access to certain features on the site and in the app. For example, they won't be able to add a credit card for payment to their account.
This is a great year to visit the Disneyland Resort, Gabriel. The
Disney100 Celebration is in full swing. The resort is decked out in platinum and purple decorations, and the new attraction,
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, is now open. I had a chance to experience this ride during my last visit and thought it was so much fun. If you're able to secure a boarding group via the
virtual queue, make sure to be on the lookout for hidden Mickeys in the queue and on the ride.
Gabriel, I hope this was helpful and that your planning for your upcoming visit goes smoothly. Please let us know if you have other questions that we can help with. Until then, happy planning!
Wishing you a magical day,
Michelle
