My two six year olds are going to the Mad Hatter Tea Party. My DH and I would like to go to Citricos Lounge for drinks and a snack while we wait. Do I need a reservation for the lounge? And I would assume it would be on our dinning plan? Thanks! Debra

    Hi there, Debra!

The Wonderland Tea Party, a recent offering at Disney's Grand Floridian, allows children to decorate their own treats, enjoy some "tea fare," and spend some special time with alice and the Mad Hatter (characters subject to change), all under the watchful (and fun) supervision of Disney Cast Members.

This event can be booked 90 days out by calling Call (407)WDW-DINE. You'll need to provide a credit card number; the card will not be charged, but if the Guest does not show up for tea, you'll be assessed a $10 cancellation charge for each name on the reservations.

Citrico's Lounge (also in the Grand Floridian) "serves international wines, specialty martinis and cocktails, espresso and light appetizers." What a lovely place for a break!

While the main restaurant (Citrico's) appears as a signature experience on the list of 2012 Dining Plan restaurants, the Lounge is not covered. Gasparilla Grill and Games (quick service) and the Grand Floridian Cafe (table service) are the dining options available at the Grand Floridian.

    Have a wonderful trip!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
