Hello, Kelly! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for stopping by with your question!
My very first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort was with my grandparents and so your question has a special place in my heart. It looks like you are gearing up for a busy, but Magical spring! To make sure you're organized and planned for both groups of grandchildren, let's start first with My Disney Experience.
If you haven't already done so, make sure you not only create a
My Disney Experience account, but have everyone in both of your traveling parties linked to your account. You can do so under the
"My Family & Friends" tab.
Next, you mentioned that you have two separate trips booked. If you will be staying at a
Disney Resort Hotel, you should have two separate reservation numbers. Make sure to link both numbers under your My Disney Experience account. That will allow both trips to show up. Kelly, I have personally had two trips booked like you are describing and this step should help delineate between the two.
After both reservations numbers are linked, you are ready to start assigning family & friends to your plans. With two trips, I always like to double check that I have assigned the correct family to the correct date, so I would encourage double checking before your first trip begins.
Also, remember: You can manage all of the plans for your group through your My Disney Experience account or the My Disney Experience app, but make sure that each grandchild has their own account created... even your littlest Mouseketeer!
I hope this helps as you start to finalize your plans for both of your upcoming vacations and you are able to enjoy each moment with your grandchildren at the Most Magical Place on Earth. As Walt Disney himself said, "The most important thing is family."
