I have two separate reservations for me and my adult kids. I want to make sure that I am paying for all charges for both reservations. The two reservations are linked, does that mean that all charges will go to my credit card on file?

    Hi Joni,

Welcome to planDisney! You must be excited about your upcoming Disneyland Resort vacation with your kids. No matter their ages, I have found that the magic never goes away when you walk right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A., with your children! A few years ago, I had the pleasure of traveling to Disneyland Resort with my parents, and we made the most wonderful memories together.

You will be happy to know that one of the benefits of staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel is the ability to have dining and shopping purchases from theme parks, Disneyland Resort hotels and select merchandise locations in the Downtown Disney District charged to your credit card for everyone in your party in either room using the Disneyland app. When you check in either online or in person, you will provide your approved credit card for charges during your stay and ask that this card be used for all charges to both rooms.

The card you presented at check-in should be linked to the approved Payment Method in the Disneyland account of each person registered in each room. Also, you can manually add the card to the Payment Method on individual Disneyland apps. Simply navigate to the Disneyland mobile app’s ☰ feature menu and scroll down to My Profile. Select My Profile, and you will see My Account. Select Payment Method and then + Add a Payment Method.

Remember, everyone in your party will need to download the Disneyland app and use the app to pay for purchases. The Cast Members will assist you with using your app for purchases, and once you get the hang of it, it is super simple.

The Disneyland app is essential for making the most of your vacation, Joni. You can use it to tap into the theme parks and Lightning Lane entrances, unlock your resort room door, in-park navigation and so much more! If you need help using any of the app's features, I encourage you to watch or listen to the planDisney Podcast all about technology or write back and we can answer questions for you.

I hope this is helpful to you, Joni, and that you and your kids have a magical vacation together. Thanks for stopping by and we hope to see you again real soon!

    Stay young at heart,
    Shannon
