We have two rooms reserved in October at Port Orleans Riverside. I would like to request that these be connecting rooms.

Hey there, Diane, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question! Your Walt Disney World Vacation is quickly approaching, and soon you’ll be strolling down Main Street U.S.A. with a Disney Snack in hand! If you’re looking for a snack to fill that hand, I suggest grabbing a Cheeseburger Eggroll from the snack cart right outside of the entrance to Adventureland. You can thank me later!

Diane, you can request a connecting room by getting a note added to your Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation. While requesting a connecting room is a fairly seamless process, please keep in mind that requests are not guaranteed. However, Cast Members will do their best to accommodate your requests. In my experience, it’s usually easiest to place a call to a Resort Reservations Cast Member to request your connecting room. The Cast Member will then add the note to your reservation. I also suggest that you call back a few days before your arrival date to ensure your request is still on file for your arrival. And when you have a special request attached to a reservation, it’s always a good idea to stop by the Resort Front Desk as you check in to make your request once more in person. Persistence, understanding, and patience can go a long way in this space!

I hope this helps, Diane! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation, stop back by and let me know
