Hi there! I have two reservations waitlisted; one for Nov 9-13, 2022 and the other for Nov. 10-13. Is there a way to prioritize these two requests? I don't want my second choice to cancel out my first choice without a chance to decide!

Hi there, Nancy! Welcome back to planDisney and Welcome Home! I'm so happy that you've stopped by with your vacation planning question. I love chatting with a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member!

Don't you just LOVE being a Disney Vacation Club Member?! One of the best things about the magical Membership is the flexibility of the Points System and being able to book a stay in a fabulous DVC Resort while activating up to two waitlists for an even more desirable Resort to have the vacation of your dreams. A dream is a wish your heart makes, so, let's chat about your waitlists to make your vacation wishes come true!

While there is no way to prioritize your two waitlists, Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries!" If your first waitlist comes through, it will automatically be confirmed, and you will receive a confirmation email. When this occurs, immediately log in to your account on the DVC website, go to your Dashboard and cancel your second waitlist. That way, there will be no way for your second waitlist to cancel your first choice. If your second waitlist comes through first, it will also be confirmed, and you will receive a confirmation email. Since the waitlists do not have identical dates, your first-choice waitlist will not automatically be canceled, so, you will remain in line on that waitlist and will have a chance for that one to be confirmed. It's a practically perfect situation!

When you activated your waitlists, since the dates are different, you could have put in a note to have the second waitlist canceled if the first one comes through and is confirmed. However, since the waitlists are already active, you can call DVC Member Services to speak with a Cast Member to add that note to your first waitlist. I will be wishing upon every star that your waitlist comes through, and you have the BEST. VACATION. EVER!

Nancy, while we are chatting DVC, have you downloaded your new digital DVC Membership Card from the My Disney Experience app into your digital wallet yet? If not, be sure to do this before your next pixie-dusted vacation to unlock all of the DVC perks, benefits and discounts. Magic unlocked!

I hope this was helpful, Nancy, and I hope you have the trip of your dreams! Please stop by any time with any vacation planning or DVC questions that you may have. You've got a friend in me!

I hope to see ya real soon,

    Mandy
